Plot Summary

The Mechanical Genius Intervenes

An incident involving mechanized Chaos entities draws the Captain’s attention to Mechanika — a freelance mechanic who can bring machines “to life.” Mechanika was once an engineer at Anbar Industries, awakening her machine symbiosis abilities after Chaos energy corrupted the factory. Her mechanical companion “Little Iron” displays intelligence far beyond ordinary machines in combat.

The Captain invites Mechanika to provide technical support for the squad. She’s initially uninterested, but upon seeing the Captain’s tentacles, she becomes intensely curious — she’s never encountered biological tissue capable of Chaos resonance. She ultimately joins “for research purposes.”

The Old District’s Guardian Angel

While tracking graffiti-related Chaos anomalies in the Old District, the Captain meets Bansy — an Agent who can materialize graffiti into real objects. Bansy is the Old District’s “Street Guardian Angel,” long fighting low-tier Chaos entities alone to protect the community.

Bansy is initially skeptical of the ACD, believing official organizations only restrict freedom. But the Captain’s casual style and “selective rule-following” change her mind. She eventually joins as an unofficial collaborator.
