Plot Summary
Starting from Zero
On the first day, the Captain faces a squad with virtually no combat capability. Rich is the only reliable member, and the two form the initial “Kick Squad.” The Captain decides to start with the basics — handling a minor Chaos rift reported in the Old District.
Old District Encounter
During the Old District mission, the Captain bumps into Taffy, who’s out making deliveries. Taffy is a newly recruited investigator at the ACD and also a part-time courier for Cat Express. She gets caught up in a Chaos incident mid-delivery and demonstrates her gravity-controlling abilities.
First Team-Up
While handling the rift, the Captain and Rich encounter stronger Chaos entities than expected. Amidst the chaos, Taffy uses her Gravity Hammer to fend off an ambush. The three combine forces to resolve the incident. Afterwards, Taffy is officially assigned to the squad, becoming the Kick Squad’s second core member.
