Prologue: Arrival in Nova City
Chapter 1:Taking Command · Prologue
Plot Summary
Battle on Arrival
As the newly appointed Captain of the ACD Special Ops Squad, the Captain heads to Nova City to report for duty. Upon entering the city, a massive traffic jam reveals the cause — a Maniac-class Chaos entity is tearing through the main road, completely beyond the Patrol Agency’s capabilities.
Acting on instinct, the Captain activates their Chaos tentacles, swinging between skyscrapers and using street signs, car wreckage, and other city objects as improvised weapons to obliterate the Maniac-class entity on the spot.
Accidental Viral Fame
The battle is captured by bystanders and surveillance cameras, spreading like wildfire across social media. “New ACD Captain Airdrops and Smashes Chaos Entity” becomes the day’s top trending topic. Before even checking in at headquarters, the Captain has become Nova City’s latest internet celebrity.
The Broken ACD
Arriving at the ACD office covered in dust, the Captain discovers a harsh reality: the office is a mess, members are undisciplined, the entire squad is on the verge of disbandment, and the only person available is Rich. The Captain declares on the spot: “This Division — I’m cleaning it up, starting today.”
